About Furbraska
Furbraska is Nebraska’s longest-running furry community! Originally founded by Snap E Tiger in the mid-’90s, we’ve been bringing furries together for decades. We’re an all-ages fandom group centered around a shared love for anthropomorphic characters and media. Whether you’re a longtime furry or just starting out, there’s a place for you here!
Our Mission
Furbraska exists to provide a welcoming space for furries of all ages to connect, express themselves, and build friendships. We aim to foster a positive and inclusive environment where members can share their passion for the furry fandom, whether online or in person.
What We Offer
We stay active both online and through in-person events, giving members plenty of ways to engage with the community:
• Monthly Gatherings – Join us in Omaha for potlucks, outings to various venues, and other fun events designed for both younger and adult members.
• Online Community – Stay connected through our primary platforms, Telegram and Bluesky, where members chat, share artwork, and plan meetups.
• A Safe & Inclusive Space – We welcome furries from all walks of life and strive to maintain a friendly and respectful community.

We’ve grown and evolved alongside the fandom itself, continuing to provide a space for furries to meet, socialize, and celebrate their interests.
